XM RADIO ANTENNA May 6, 2008 Roger Varner (Shawnee, OK) This antenna worked perfect for me. I've had it on my boat now for several months and it still looks new. It's used in harsh enviroments, saltwater bays and offshore and I've always had great reception. It's mounted at about shoulder level on the center console grab bar. The only reception loss is when traveling under a low hanging bridge. It's high quality and I can sure recommend it.

Antenna works perfectly. I recieved it in a timely manner. It took me about 20 minutes to mount it. I would definitely reccomend this business.
Does the job, pain to install July 7, 2008 Kyle M. Lomax (Indianapolis, IN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had this antenna on my boat for about a year now. It works great, I find reception with little trouble. It's folds nicely allowing my canvas cover to slide over it. . .very few complaints. I will say installing it involved drilling a large hole into my boat, and even after that the washer that holds the antenna still works it's way loose every couple trips out. I also wish it fit a standard delphi or terk XM car kit. You have to buy an adaptor to make the antenna fit into the "antenna" plug on the car kit cradle.
It works August 23, 2007 J. Prehm (Loveland, CO United States) I needed something that I could mount on my wakeboard tower. Unfortunately, the largest 'rail' type mount I could find is about 1 inch in diameter, but that is not Terk's fault. What is their fault is that it's size... it is large. Like mentioned below, I don't think they thought this through... there are very nice and compact marine antennas for Sirius radio, but not for us XM users... Sirius's antennas are small, compact and low profile. But, this does work. I use it in Colorado where I boat in the mountains and foot hills and have not had any problems with the reception. One more thought, the terminal that connects to my Roady XT cradle partially broke off. It still holds the connection (friction) but it does come out time to time. I am in contact with Terk to see if there is a solution, or if a bit of glue is in order.
Okay but not great... January 3, 2007 Jeane Butterfield (Bermuda) I mounted the antenna which is meant to be pandirectional, and it didn't quite do what it was supposed to. I think it may be how I mounted it, in that the highest point on the boat is really where it's supposed to be. don't expect perfection, but for the price it was worth a try.
